Clean UP!

I just cleaned up the User DB, 3880 users down to 630 or there about.

I know I probably got some honest people, however I know I didn’t get anyone with a subscription.

I have put into place a new way of letting people register, you now have to be approved…
This means if you use a name that even looks remotely like a spammer name like dskjhgflsd123241 or viag1200 or anything along those lines expect to get denied. Use something simple that doesn’t make you look like a spammer.

If you get rejected you can try again with a better name. I might make an appeals process for this in the future. right now I’m tired from all the deleting I just got done doing. Something else that takes away from my time for writing…

I’m once again going to allow registered users the ability to post replies and such to the site. I’m really trying to NOT go to a full on pay site…

Cryptic Emails

Cryptic emails and messages don’t help me. I’m on the road and I don’t have a lot of time to sit and think about what you mean or want. Send me a message or email with the problem clearly detailed. That way when I have an hour I can jump right in and correct the problem.

Like the last message I got, it clearly told me what the problem was. I had the issue fixed in ten minutes. It was a store issue that wasn’t allowing the file to be downloaded due to a restriction on the directory. I sent them their file and correct the issue and the store should be working correctly once again.

The only way I can fix something is to know it is broken in the first place. This site isn’t meant to be seen in a mobile phone or anything that doesn’t have full browser ability. I’m working to correct this, but for the time being that’s just the way it has to be.

So, by all means, send me any issues you have with the site. Make sure you tell me what the problem is the best you can. Don’t threaten me, I’ve been getting a lot of that lately, I’m on the road it might take me a couple or more days to get back to you and solve the issue. If you threaten me all I’m going to do is push you to the back of the line. BE NICE!!!! The world has too many assholes as it is right now.

Yes, I’m trying to write, no I haven’t gotten much done. Sorry, I’m a busy man now and when I’m not busy I’m physically and mentally tired and just want to relax for an hour and then go to sleep.

A message from Siath

I talked to Siath yesterday. He’s doing great, but he’s very busy. Walmart has him running to his legal limit everyday. Usually, he’s so tired by the time he’s done that he falls into the sleeper, sound asleep. He did ask me to tell all of you that he is working on new chapters. In his mind, he has the end of book II completed, and almost the first half of Book III. He simply doesn’t have the time to write at the moment. He wanted me to tell everyone that he misses being able to be here as often as he was, but he is happy out on the road.

(The ref. to Walmart keeping him busy, when he works for Swift Trucking is because Walmart leased him and the truck for the holiday season.)

I’m back

I’m back from orientation and everything went well. I’m currently preparing to go out over the road as I gather the stuff I’ll need to survive.

New Forums and New Site Look

I’m still fine tuning things, however most of everything is in place.

I would like members to look over their profiles and set their privacy options and avatar (optional) and then take a look at the forums and get a feel for them.

Things will be changing a bit here and there as I fine tune setting and add things. Let me know if you see something that isn’t working.
